Four Seasons Residence in Erode is a large contemporary home designed for a four-generation family, planned on a 30,000 sq.ft. site. Guided by vaasthu, the layout places shared spaces at the centre with private zones at the corners—each opening to landscaped surroundings and internal courtyards. To address the hot climate, the design incorporates a double-wall system, under-deck insulation, and cool roof tiles for thermal comfort. The massing is articulated as a series of stepped terraces, creating a strong connection to the landscape, while a palette of wood and stone veneers is complemented by a triple-height north-east facing glazed staircase that brings in soft natural light.
