					## project Description

					*Linear Fenestrations* is a stilt + four-storey office building in Chennai, conceived as a clean and minimal response to a prominent corner site. By positioning the service core at the rear corner, the design frees up the floor plate to capture expansive views towards the junction, enhancing both visibility and spatial quality. While the brief called for extensive glazing on multiple facades, the approach reframes this requirement through a layered envelope—introducing vertical fins and horizontal projections that modulate light, reduce heat gain, and add depth to the elevation. The corner is articulated as a defining feature, expressed through vertical flutes that create a strong architectural identity. Balancing performance with clarity, the building presents a refined, climate-conscious workspace.
